Day 5 - Samantha

Weight: 121.4 lbs.
Body Fat: 26.2%

So far I have eaten:

2 bananas
1 pear
1 apple

Today has been very busy at work, so I haven't eaten as much as I should have. Oh well. I'll make up for it when I get home.

It has been a little challenging, although not enough for me to cheat, to deal with the crazy amounts of "treats" at work this week. So far this week we have had my boss bring some carrot cake muffins to work (she made them so her son would be sure to eat his carrots!), a client gave chocolates to me and my coworker (so 2 boxes - and very nice, expensive chocolates), and another coworker brought in a box of fresh Krispy Kreme glazed donuts (plain glazed are my favorite). Anyway, despite all this I have not given into the temptation. It does tend to be more difficult when I am hungry and haven't eaten enough.

Also another coworker makes baked potatoes at work every day, and they smelled really good to me today. Oh well...

This whole raw food lifestyle is important to me so I am sticking to it. I just wanted to let you all know that even I crave crap (donuts, $0.33 box of macaroni and cheese, and potato chips, along with a myriad of other processed items that probably don't even technically qualify as food any longer). :)

Tonight I made Crab Delight, but I had to vary it slightly because we don't have a Champion Juicer yet (but I think Matt ordered one, so we should have it soon), so I used our food processor instead, and I didn't have exactly two cups of almonds (also didn't blanch them as the recipe asked) so I made up the difference with unsoaked pecans, and the recipe also called for kelp powder but I just had dulse flakes on hand, so I used that instead. It was a good dish, but I think it might have been almost too heavy for me.
I also made some mustard which is extremely strong, so I need to find a milder recipe for that. It definitely gives a kick and then some.
I also ate a bowl of fresh pineapple, and I think that's it mainly.
