Day 7 - Samantha

Weight: 119.8 lbs.

So far today I've had a couple of bananas, a nectarine, an apple, some pineapple, some raisins, and part of an onion ring that I made in the dehydrator last night.

The onion rings are so disgusting to me. I followed a recipe that I had found on the Raw Food Talk forum, and most of the breading is made out of golden flax seeds. I have tried to figure out a way to enjoy flax seeds, but no matter what I do, and no matter what I use them for they always taste too strong and pretty much awful to me. I suspect that if I try making onion rings again I'll have to figure out some other breading that could work just as well.

Anyway, when I get home I plan to experiment a little bit more with stuffed mushrooms. I am thinking of trying to stuff them with sundried tomatoes and garlic and olive oil. That should be good. I did dry some tomatoes in the dehydrator last night, so I'll use some of those (at least something was successful from the dehydrator last night).

I have been pretty hungry the last couple of days, but that is pretty much my fault. Yesterday I had a job interview and I didn't want to carry dirty containers there, so I just brought things that I could eat without the need of carrying them in plastic containers. Last night I didn't even think to start soaking oat groats, so I didn't make oatmeal this morning. I'll soak some tonight so I can eat that tomorrow. That is usually a pretty substantial and good meal for me, so I should try to do that more often.

I'll probably also try to make a few more things over the weekend. Hopefully I'll make something good!
